Work with your hotel to schedule a cab for you. You can also take an official taxi from within the airport to your hotel destination.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n
Inquire with your hotel about the shuttles available to and from your Bogot\u00e1 hotel and the BOG airport.<\/p>\r\n

Depart Bogot\u00e1 via the Autopista Norte toward Tunja. Before reaching Tunja, just after passing the Puente de Boyac\u00e1, take the left-hand return toward Samac\u00e1. From there, you will join the midway point of the road connecting Tunja and Villa de Leyva. This route allows you to bypass Tunja; although there are a few rough stretches, it offers the most beautiful scenery and is our favorite route.<\/p>\r\n
Travel time: 2 hours and 45 minutes<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Depart Bogot\u00e1 via the Autopista Norte toward Tunja. In Tunja, take the road toward Chiquinquir\u00e1, and before reaching S\u00e1chica (just after the toll booth), turn off toward Villa de Leyva. With the new dual carriageway, the road is very good up to Tunja. While in Tunja, you may visit the Founder\u2019s House, Plaza de Bol\u00edvar, and tour its historic churches.<\/p>\r\n

Along the way, you can stop at the Zipaquir\u00e1 Salt Cathedral, Ubat\u00e9, Lake F\u00faquene, the recently renovated Shrine of Our Lady of Chiquinquir\u00e1, R\u00e1quira, Sutamarch\u00e1n, and finally Villa de Leyva. This is the ideal route for returning to Bogot\u00e1, traveling from town to town, with very beautiful scenery.<\/p>\r\n
